Shopify Product Image Set Planner for Real Products
Give every image a job. Turn one product name into a sequenced shot plan with a practical review check for each image. Planning is free and runs in your browser.
Plan your listing image set
Start with the product the customer will receive
Use a clear photograph of the exact variant you sell as your reference when you move into production. A blue ceramic mug and a white ceramic mug need separate references, even when they share the same shape. Include the full outline, handle and printed label. If an important detail is missing from the source, take another photograph rather than asking a model to invent it. The planner uses your description to organize a brief; it does not inspect a photograph or verify the product.
Build a sequence that answers buying questions
Begin with a clear main view, then explain one supported benefit, size, use context and a useful close-up. Expand to six, seven or eight shots only when you have information worth showing: package contents, a verified comparison, or a short brand story. Each planned image has a different purpose and a review check. Five almost identical backgrounds do little to explain a product. Keep the same variant, lighting direction and visual tone across the set so the customer can follow the sequence.
Keep dimensions and claims under human control
A generated image cannot confirm capacity, material composition or certification. Put verified measurements into a design editor after reviewing the image, and compare every number with your product specification. Check labels and small text at full size; plausible lettering can still be wrong. For lifestyle scenes, inspect contact shadows, the handle and the relationship between the product and nearby objects. Reject a visually attractive image when it changes what you actually sell. Use the source photograph when a faithful candidate is unavailable.
Move from the brief into production deliberately
Download the plan as JSON to keep the shot order and review notes together. This download contains text instructions, not generated pictures. Open the selected product brief in yito Studio, attach your authorized reference, and review the available model, output count, aspect ratio and Credit quote before submitting a job. Studio prefills the planned output count for the selected product; review or change it before generating. Opening Studio does not buy generations. If Studio is temporarily unavailable, the downloaded plan remains useful for a photographer or your existing image editor.
Review the finished sequence in your storefront
Shopify uses the first product media item as the featured media. Choose that position consciously, then preview the actual product page in your theme on desktop and mobile. Check crops, readable annotations, variant assignment and whether props might be mistaken for included accessories. The planner does not upload files to Shopify or publish a listing. Keep approved source files and final exports separately, and refer to Shopify’s current media guidance for the accepted file types and limits.
